Job Summary
Medical Coders Spokane, WA sought to provide accurate VA-guideline-compliant coding (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS) as a contractor at VA Medical Center Spokane. Requires credentialing (RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC or equivalent) and maintaining an overall coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher. Productivity standards per daily categories (Observation, Inpatient, Outpatient, Prosth, Surgery) apply. On-site role with schedule of 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, 7:30am–4:00pm, not to exceed 40 hours. Coding must comply with current Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting and be performed with highest degree of specificity.
