Job Summary
Request and process bills to third-party payors and patients to maximize reimbursement. Perform accurate data entry for charges, payments, and adjustments while following up with insurance companies to ensure efficient cash flow. Record accounts receivable and miscellaneous cash, prepare bank deposits, and balance A/R reports. Retrieve and execute electronic billing, making follow-up calls to guarantors as needed. This on-site role requires a flexible schedule of Monday through Thursday, 9:30am to 3:00pm, with a workload of 1–19 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of business office experience
- hospital or medical office experience
