Job Summary
Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care across multiple departments including Cath Lab, CVICU, SICU, MICU, ICU, Emergency Services, PCU, Med/Surg, Surgical Services, PEDs, NICU, Woman's Services, Telemetry, Transplant, Bone Marrow Transplant, Oncology, Neurology, and Nephrology. Uses the nursing model of Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage to support individualized care. Functions include procedures, monitoring, and documentation of care; patient/family education on conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up; and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree; BSN required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in Acute Care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
- Magnet Hospital experience or Magnet-designated facility preferred
