Job Summary
Greet patients and their families professionally in person and over the telephone while obtaining and verifying required patient and insurance information. Enter accurate registration data into the system and schedule appointments for return visits, referrals, and diagnostic testing or procedures. Serve as the first point of contact to set the tone for the visit and ensure an exceptional experience of care, wellness, and healing. This role requires a high school graduate or GED with two years of healthcare business experience, proficiency in Windows and multiple computer systems, and adherence to strict vaccination requirements for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Associate Degree Preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role
- Proficient in typing
- Proficient in Windows
- Experience with multiple computer systems
- 6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience
- Experience working with the public with minimal supervision
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
