Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day medical billing operations for ambulance services, managing accounts receivable and ensuring accurate claim submission for emergency and non-emergency transports. Review and process claims while resolving denied claims, billing disputes, and payment discrepancies related to coding errors or underpaid invoices. Lead the team by providing training on ambulance billing nuances, generating performance reports, and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and insurance requirements. Paid weekly with medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of ambulance coding (HCPCS, ICD-10)
