Job Summary
Review visit coding, post charges and payments, process claims, and manage denials and appeals. Coordinate billing communication with physicians and administrators to ensure accurate documentation. Monitor accounts receivable, establish payment arrangements with patients, and pursue delinquent accounts through collections lists or agencies. Check patient insurance eligibility and educate patients on claims questions to resolve issues. Utilize Practice Management and EHR systems while following HIPAA and OSHA policies. This role supports Tareen Dermatology's mission of providing expert dermatologic care by maximizing cash flow and reducing outstanding days in accounts receivable.
Required Qualifications
- Reside within commuting distance of Roseville, MN
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
- Proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail oriented
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Desired Qualifications
