Job Summary
Responsibilities include verifying medical eligibility, obtaining authorizations, processing insurance claims, contacting patients to obtain information, and coordinating with Work Comp carriers to obtain information for authorizations. Must meet deadlines and perform other duties as needed. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, typing at least 45 WPM, and 1-2 years of medical billing experience. This is a full-time position with typical hours Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm and onsite in Tracy, CA.
