Job Summary
Track claims for accuracy and timely payment while analyzing accounts receivable reports to follow up on unpaid claims and denials. Reconcile patient accounts, communicate with payers regarding disputes or appeals, and monitor key performance indicators for billing operations. Maintain compliance with insurance guidelines and HIPAA regulations. Requires a certification in Medical Billing, 2+ years of experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle, and proficiency in EMR and clearinghouse platforms.
