Job Summary
Manage complex medical billing activities by independently handling submissions, reconciliations, and rejected claims while ensuring compliance with OHIP policies. Act as the primary billing advisor for physician practices by resolving escalated concerns, identifying missed revenue opportunities, and guiding clients through Ontario's healthcare billing requirements. Analyze billing trends to recommend improvements and share subject matter expertise on Ministry updates with the team. Contribute to continuous improvement by offering customer insights and process enhancements. This full-time hybrid role in Toronto includes office days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Comprehensive training on billing systems and processes is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with Ontario medical billing
- Experience with OHIP claims
- Experience with EMRs
- Experience with healthcare administration
- Understanding of healthcare workflows
