Job Summary
Billing specialist needed for an in-person, full-time role at a medical practice specializing in retinal disease. Responsibilities include submitting claims, posting payments, following up with insurers, checking eligibility and authorizations, handling patient calls, working on denials, collecting co-pays and balances, and other duties as assigned. Requires prior billing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; the employer offers training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement. Located in Nampa, ID with standard Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Previous clinical experience
- Billing experience is required
- Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
