Job Summary
This onsite Medical Billing Specialist position offers a salary of $20 per hour, requiring 1-3 years of coding and billing experience and knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Ideal candidates will also have communication skills and experience with claims management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of physician coding and billing experience.
- Must possess knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third-party reimbursement regulations.
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Billing/Coding Certification preferred not required.
- Experience with physician billing (1500 form, professional coding - Internal medicine/SNF is a plus!
- Experience with insurance claims follow up / denial management.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Word processing and related computer skills required.
