Job Summary
Process and submit insurance claims for Ophthalmology services, verifying patient eligibility and benefits prior to appointments. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, identifying and resolving issues with insurance providers while reviewing and correcting coding errors. Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance guidelines. This role requires proficiency in AdvancedMD and Nextech software and a minimum of 2.5 years of proven experience. Required Qualifications
