Job Summary
Part-time Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Lead Instructor in California. Duties include advanced student learning via established course outlines, assisting in student learning outcomes, maintaining current subject-matter knowledge and professional standards, facilitating required skill labs with an assistant instructor, and grading assignments/exams. Qualifications require a medical billing/coding certification (CPC/CCS/CMC), a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of related experience, and 1 year of teaching experience preferred. Must be a California resident and available for a schedule that includes Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm; remote position available for CA residents. Salary is $30.00-$34.00 per hour. Flexible weekday morning and evening schedules are noted, with on-site opportunities in Fairfield, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- License/certification associated with Medical Billing and Coding (CPC, CCS, or CMC)
- 3 years of experience in a directly related field.
- Must adhere to weekly class schedule
- Resident of California
