Job Summary
Process and submit medical billing claims accurately for medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services. Manage the full claims lifecycle, including submission, tracking, follow-up, and resolution of denials or rejections within ModMed. Coordinate with front office and clinical staff to ensure billing information is complete and correct across all service types. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies proactively to keep the revenue cycle running smoothly. This role supports a comprehensive practice offering a wide range of procedures, requiring comfort navigating diverse billing scenarios from routine visits to self-pay cosmetic services.
Required Qualifications
- Medical billing experience
- ModMed experience
- Claims experience — submission, tracking, and follow-up
Desired Qualifications
- Billing Supervisor experience — not required, but a strong plus for candidates looking to bring additional oversight or leadership to the billing process
