Medical Asst

Provides administrative and basic level clinical support to physician practices to ensure delivery of quality healthcare services. May perform basic, non-invasive rooming and vitals if needed; attends training to gain clinical experience before placement into ambulatory care site. Responsibilities include rooming, medication refills, basic patient care skills, EMR documentation, patient communication, coordinating with the health care team, maintaining exam rooms and supplies, and supporting safety and quality initiatives. Requires high school diploma or GED and is a day-shift, full-time role in an OhioHealth ambulatory care setting.
