Job Summary
Greet patients and triage cases virtually or in-person, including primary care, dermatology, and endocrinology visits. Perform phlebotomy, collect blood and urine samples, take vital signs, and conduct EKGs and various testing procedures such as COVID-19 or flu testing. Prepare clinical spaces for gynecological exams and IUD placements, perform ear irrigation treatments, and assist with dermatology procedures. Complete health risk assessments, pull lab reports, reconcile codes, and follow up with patients via multiple communication channels. Cross-train with front desk receptionist duties and cover shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program
- CPR certification
- Must be flexible to work day, evening, and Saturday shifts
- Must be able to travel between offices when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years as a Medical Assistant
- Previous experience working with Primary Care
- Dermatology experience
- Strong phlebotomy and vital taking skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team player with a welcoming and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be computer savvy
