Job Summary
Program Chair for the Medical Assisting with X-Ray program on campus. Responsible for implementing academic program objectives, developing department curriculum, recruiting and training faculty, advising on personnel changes, supervising department staff, coordinating student orientations and graduations, facilitating Program Advisory Committee meetings, monitoring student attendance and attrition, researching and applying technological changes in the field, ensuring CPR training when required, teaching courses as needed, and traveling as required. Maintains professional relationships with Campus personnel and upholds accreditation standards; role is on-campus with no telecommuting.
Required Qualifications
- A related degree or certification.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- At least one (1) year of in-class teaching experience.
- Experience with curriculum development and academic program administration.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate staff within an academic department.
- Travel as required.
