Job Summary
The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Tech is responsible for patient care under the direction of the Physician/Medical Provider, ensuring smooth patient flow, measuring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, lab tests, drug screens, and managing medical supplies. Key qualifications include a high school diploma, some medical experience, BCLS certification, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Some medical experience
- BCLS certification
- Ability to work all shifts including day, night, and weekend hours as needed
- Basic computer skills; including familiarity with electronic medical records
- Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Candidate must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Job requires physical ability for long-term standing, occasional sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching with reaching above head and below waist.
