Job Summary

Administer medications and approved health-related activities per Ohio DODD certification and agency policy while monitoring the health and well-being of individuals served. Maintain accurate documentation of medications, health status, and services provided. Support individuals with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities, partnering with nurses, direct support professionals, and families to coordinate care. Use person-centered approaches to encourage independence and community engagement while ensuring a safe, respectful environment. Requires current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, Medication Administration certification, and a valid Ohio driver's license. Schedule includes daytime hours Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or evening shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
  • Current Medication Administration certification(s) or ability to obtain and maintain required certifications
  • Valid Ohio driver's license
  • Ability to complete and maintain required training and certifications
  • Ability to accurately document services and health-related information

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a developmental disabilities-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Experience with person-centered planning, behavior supports, healthcare support, or community-based services
