Job Summary
Medical Assistant at EvergreenHealth Woodinville Primary Care who greets and rooms patients, takes history and vital signs, prepares patients for exams, assists with exams/surgical procedures and diagnostic testing, maintains sterile environments per Washington standards, and administers injections under provider orders. Must be proficient with EMR, possess WA State MA certification and a national MA certification (AAMA/AMT/NHA/NCCT/AMCA), and current BLS. Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent or applicable coursework to be applied to obtain required WA State Medical Assistant Certification
- Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification
- Current national certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologist (AMT), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
- Proficient with medical terminology
