Job Summary

Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history, and assist the physician during procedures while performing basic laboratory tests and preparing specimens. Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality, schedule appointments, manage office communications, and educate patients on treatment plans and skincare practices. Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked. May participate in supporting the clinic's social media presence by gathering content and sharing approved updates. Requires high school diploma, preferred certification, and experience in a clinical dermatology setting. Full-time role with comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) matching, and PTO.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States in a full-time basis

Desired Qualifications

  • certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
