Medical Assistant - Women's Health

Medical Assistant – Women’s Health role supporting physician in examination and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height), recording information on patient charts, and preparing treatment rooms. Cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care; collaborates within a team-based environment. Proficiency in assisting with medical procedures on adults and children; maintaining safety and cleanliness of the treatment area; applying clean and sterile procedure principles with medical equipment. Requires graduation from an approved program and certification/licensure (RMA/ CMA or LPN acceptable), CPR, EKG, injections, venipuncture, and CLIA-compliant lab testing; up to 1 year of medical office experience. Schedule: Day shift, 40 hours weekly. Sign-on bonus up to $500.00; comprehensive benefits and potential for professional growth.
