Job Summary
The Medical Assistant in Women's Health provides direct patient care, including lab tests, treatments, and medication administration under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Key responsibilities include collecting patient data, preparing patients for examinations, documenting care accurately, performing clerical and quality control functions, and ensuring patient safety. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred experience includes outpatient office work and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications

- Sound judgment
- Knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice

Desired Qualifications
- Previous outpatient office experience
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant program
- Certified EMT/Paramedic under the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
