Job Summary
Medical Assistant with pediatric experience needed for Pediatrics of Southwest Houston. Full-time clinic role in Bellaire, TX. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, ensuring efficient patient flow, assisting with exams and in-office procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating scheduling with the hospital, and providing patient education. Requires at least 1 year of pediatric experience, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification, and VFC program experience. Candidate must be bilingual and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced medical setting. 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Must reliably commute to Bellaire, TX or relocate before starting.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
- Minimum 1 year in pediatric care
- Bilingual required
- Experience managing the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic lab testing knowledge
- Proficiency in computer use
