Job Summary
Medical Assistant assists physician with patient care in dermatology/cosmetic/surgical clinic; duties include obtaining history and chief complaint, obtaining consents, assisting with cosmetic procedures (Botox, fillers), preparing exam rooms, escorting patients, preparing them for the provider, and patient education on aftercare. Other responsibilities include EHR charting (EMA), stocking and turnover of rooms, and managing schedules to ensure appropriate appointments and supplies for procedures. Requires attention to detail, strong customer service, multitasking, and teamwork. Education path includes high school diploma plus either a college degree or a Medical Assistant program; Medical Assistant certification is preferred. Experience in dermatology or cosmetic/surgical clinic is preferred.
Required Qualifications

- Medical assistant certification is preferred
- 1-2 years of prior experience in a dermatology or cosmetic/surgical clinic setting preferred
