Job Summary
Assist physician with patient care in a dermatology/cosmetic clinic, focusing on obtaining history, chief complaint, and consents; support cosmetic procedures (including Botox, fillers); prepare exam rooms and escort patients to rooms; assist providers and patient education regarding aftercare; perform EHR charting and clinical room turnover; manage supplies and scheduling to ensure appropriate appointments and procedure readiness; strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills; knowledge of medical and skin care terminology; proficient computer skills; ability to stand for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma plus either completion of a college degree or a Medical Assistant program required
- Medical assistant certification is preferred
- 1-2 years of prior experience in a dermatology or cosmetic/surgical clinic setting working as a medical assistant or clinical assistant preferred
