Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant, you will provide patient care and support to assigned patients within hospital standards and practices. Key responsibilities include interviewing patients, measuring and recording vital signs, assisting providers in clinical settings, completing administrative tasks, and managing medical supply inventories. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess current national MA certification along with a valid BLS certification. Two years of related experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current national MA certification from one of the following: RMA of AMT, NCMA, CCMA, or CMA of the AAMA
Desired Qualifications
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Two (2) years of related experience preferred
