Job Summary
Room patients, update medical histories, and document visit details while assisting with dermatological procedures including biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments. Collaborate with a team to manage up to 40 patients daily, administer local anesthesia, remove sutures, and perform scribing by inputting chart notes. Process prescription refills, manage prior authorizations, log pathology samples, and operate specialized equipment like Narrowband UVB units. Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols while maintaining examination rooms and replenishing supplies. Requires travel to all locations to support operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of medical assistant experience
- Medical Assistant Credentials/Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail
