Job Summary
Medical Assistant / MIST Coordinator responsible for coordinating the MIST Therapy Program, acting as liaison among Medical Assistants, providers, and leadership to ensure efficient patient management, training, and program growth. Provides direct supervision of field staff, maintains tracking systems, monitors KPIs, conducts weekly audits, and ensures accurate documentation and program compliance. Leads onboarding and training, selects and coordinates MA schedules, supports field coverage, facilitates communication of patient healing status and treatment progress, and collaborates with leadership on process improvements and operational initiatives to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare operations, care coordination, medical assisting, or clinical program management preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data tracking systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and healthcare compliance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, train staff, and drive accountability.
