Job Summary
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and measure weight, BMI, and body-composition results while documenting intake and tracking progress in the EMR. Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections including GLP-1 medications, coordinate pharmacy authorizations, and perform venipuncture for lab specimens. Maintain clean exam rooms, schedule follow-ups, and provide patient education within the MA scope of practice. Work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no weekends. Prior experience with semaglutide, tirzepatide, and injection clinics is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Medical Assistant experience
- Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- Comfortable administering subcutaneous and IM injections
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Comfortable communicating with pharmacies, insurance companies, and patients
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a warm, welcoming patient experience
- Monday–Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. schedule
- No weekends
