Job Summary
Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival while obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical histories, and clinical information in the electronic medical record. Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, and specimen collection within your scope of training and certification. Accurately document all patient interactions using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth while managing a high volume of interactions in a fast-paced environment. Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health settings, leveraging bilingual communication skills when applicable. Work Monday through Friday with a salary of $23-$25/hr, offering health, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician)
- Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
- Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable
