Job Summary

The Medical Assistant provides essential support and administrative services to the office, doctors, and patients, including welcoming and preparing patients for exams, taking vitals, updating records, assisting physicians with minor procedures and basic podiatric services, managing lab specimens and insurance verifications, processing prescriptions, providing post-operative follow-up, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation and clean exam rooms. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1+ year clinical experience; CMA or RMA certification preferred. Travel between local office locations as needed; proficient with Microsoft 365. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program OR 1+ year of clinical experience
  • CMA or RMA certification preferred
  • Experience with medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environment
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and patient-focused
  • Ability to travel between local office locations, as needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
