Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant supports the office, doctors, and patients in a fast-paced clinic; responsible for preparing patients for exams, taking vitals, updating the EMR with histories and medications, assisting physicians with minor in-office procedures (including digital X-rays and basic podiatric services), applying dressings, managing lab specimens, handling insurance verifications and pre-authorizations, processing prescriptions, making post-operative calls, providing patient education, maintaining exam rooms and inventory, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and delivering strong communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.
