Job Summary
Schedule appointments, take patient histories, and record vital signs while assisting providers with exams, instrument sterilization, and procedure explanations. Administer medications and immunizations, conduct laboratory tests, and perform phlebotomy. Manage medical records, perform wound care and dressing changes, and provide patient education on treatment plans and preventative care. Answer and triage calls and messages. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred with prior experience in a medical office or specialty practice, preferably urology. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems required.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Prior experience in a medical office or specialty practice, preferably urology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
