Job Summary
Schedule appointments, take patient histories, and record vital signs while assisting providers with exams, sterilizing instruments, and explaining procedures. Administer medications and immunizations, conduct laboratory tests including phlebotomy, and perform dressing changes, wound care, and suture removals. Manage medical records, answer and triage calls, and assist with patient education regarding conditions and preventative care. Requires CMA or RMA certification, EMR proficiency, and prior urology experience. Join one of the largest independent urology groups in the Southeast.
Required Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Prior experience in a medical office or specialty practice, preferably urology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
