Job Summary
Manage patient intakes, collect and process lab specimens including venipuncture, and record vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians during visits and office procedures, and perform EKGs and point-of-care testing. Sterilize medical equipment and instruments, and assist with data entry. Work 5/8.5-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Queens, NY. This role supports our multidisciplinary team at New York Health, revolutionizing healthcare with a holistic, integrated approach to patient wellbeing.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- High School Diploma
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficiency with an EMR system
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
