Job Summary
Manage patient intakes, collect and process lab specimens including venipuncture, and record vital signs. Prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians during visits and office procedures, and perform EKGs and point-of-care testing. Sterilize medical equipment and instruments while supporting staff with data entry. Work 5/8.5-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Brooklyn, NY. Requires a Medical Assistant Certificate and High School Diploma; bilingual English/Spanish and EMR proficiency preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A Medical Assistant Certificate

- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficiency with an EMR system
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
