Job Summary
Medical Assistant-Urology role performing patient-oriented procedures and workflows from check-in to check-out at LLUHC sites, under supervision of physicians or licensed staff. Provide MA coverage to LLUHC departments as requested and uphold the organization’s values. Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and BLS certification; Phlebotomy certification is preferred. Must have up to 1 year of clinical MA experience (2 years preferred), EMR familiarity, strong English communication, ability to operate clinic equipment, and the ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- MA program completion
- minimum up to one year clinical MA experience, two years preferred
- BLS certification required
- phlebotomy certificate preferred
- valid California driver's license required
- valid auto insurance required
