Medical Assistant- Urology Clinic

Medical Assistant works under the direct supervision of the clinic physician in the Urology Clinic to assist examination and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include conducting patient interviews and required screenings, measuring vital signs, recording information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), collecting blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis (may perform EKGs), and preparing exam rooms. May perform administrative tasks such as registering and scheduling patients using registration systems. Requires High School or equivalent education and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; minimum qualifications include completion of relevant program and a preference for 1 year MA experience.
