Job Summary
Conduct patient intake, vital signs monitoring, and basic clinical procedures in an urgent care setting. Perform administrative tasks including patient scheduling and insurance verification. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UW Health safety protocols. Requires RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification, plus BLS/CPR certification and a high school diploma. Full-time employment with three 8-hour shifts weekly and weekend rotation. Competitive pay includes shift differentials, overtime, and on-call compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained
- At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting
- Computer experience
- RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification
- Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification
