Job Summary
Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety, and personal needs for patients in the urgent care setting. Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the medical office while performing a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary team structure. Duties are assigned based on delegation from supervising physicians, clinical staff, and the Practice Coordinator following competency establishment. Requires 8AM–8PM work hours and one year of medical assistant experience. Must hold an American Heart Association Basic Life Support card; visual color acuity screening applies depending on specific units.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support card
- Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military medic course
