Job Summary

Place patients in exam rooms, complete exam intakes including medical and social histories, and document vitals in the clinic EMR. Provide patient care under physician direction by taking x-rays and assisting in exams while performing daily administrative tasks like re-stocking rooms and disposing of trash. Clean and sterilize exam and x-ray rooms after each visit and at day's end, conduct health assessments for Upperline Plus patients, and manage care coordination activities including records requests, order management, and appointment scheduling. Travel to surrounding clinics for support as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
  • Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred
  • X-ray experience is a plus
  • Clinical care coordination or care management experience is ideal
  • Previous experience assisting or providing care to the geriatric patient population is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service highly preferred
