Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed at Upperline Health in the Perimeter, GA clinic to assist physicians in delivering complex health services. The role supports a podiatric/orthopedic-focused practice, performing clinical and administrative tasks, taking X-rays, patient intake, vitals, exam-room preparation, sterilization, telephonic outreach, care coordination, and potential travel to nearby clinics. Requires podiatry/orthopedic exposure or X-ray experience, EMR proficiency, strong communication, and reliable transportation. Full-time, on-site in Atlanta, GA; competitive benefits and weekday clinic hours.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred
- X-ray experience is a plus
- Clinical care coordination or care management experience is ideal
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with EMR (athenahealth)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
