Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed to support Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery teams. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth patient flow, recording vital signs and histories, updating EMR, documenting communications and electronically prescribing medications under physician supervision, acting as liaison between patients and providers, preparing exam rooms per OSHA standards, assisting with scheduling, tests, referrals, and post-operative care, and supporting in-office procedures with physicians. Requires strong multitasking, time management, communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. Minimum 6 months medical office experience; prior surgical experience preferred.
