Job Summary
Prepare patient charts, welcome and check in patients, and escort them to examination rooms. Perform delegated medical tasks including recording vitals, administering injections, assisting with procedures, and conducting blood draws and urine drug screenings. Maintain exam room cleanliness, stock supplies, and dispose of biohazard waste. Collaborate with providers to troubleshoot patient issues and ensure all documentation is properly integrated into medical records. This onsite role requires Monday through Friday hours from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant certificate or a CAAHEP-accredited program
- Must hold valid and current BLS certification
- Must hold an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- An associate degree in a health-related field or certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- At least six months of healthcare experience preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic record-keeping systems such as EMR, billing software, insurance carrier portals, and spreadsheets preferred
- Bilingual candidates are highly valued
