Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed for full-time position with travel to current and future Pinnacle GI Partners locations. Primary duties include patient interviews, vital signs, room prep, assisting physicians, instrument handling, sterilization, inventory, administering immunizations, obtaining labs/x-rays, and coordinating with physicians and nursing staff. Requires completion of HS/GED and Medical Assistant program; CMA/RMA certification preferred. Ideal candidate has 1-3 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting and proficiency with computers. Occasional travel and background/drug screening required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of High School or GED
- Completion of Medical program or Medical Assistant program
- RMA or CMA certification preferred
- 1-3 years customer service experience, preferably healthcare
- Must pass background check and drug screening
