Job Summary
Obtain patient health history and enter data into the Electronic Medical Record, then set up and prepare exam rooms for visits. Perform preliminary physical tests, administer injections, and conduct phlebotomy as needed. Set up diagnostic and treatment equipment, complete all documentation for medical records, test requests, and patient education, and assist the physician as directed. May perform Scribe duties. Prior OBGYN or primary care experience is required, with Athena EMR expertise preferred. Full-time role with comprehensive health, retirement, and disability benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Prior OBGYN or Primary Care experience
- Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program
- 1+ years in a medical office
- Experience with EMR system(s) and medical terminology
Desired Qualifications
- Applicants with Athena EMR experience
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- Previous experience at an OBGYN office
