Job Summary
Medical Assistant supports patient care through clinical and administrative duties, including taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, patient intake, documenting medical information, coordinating referrals and insurance eligibility, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations; requires Medical Assistant program completion (preferred), 0-1 years of experience or externship, Basic Life Support certification, and U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Medical Assistant program from an accredited school preferred
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
