Medical Assistant - TC Urgent Care - The Woodlands (Per Diem)

Gather patient data, collect vital signs, and document medications and allergies with 100% accuracy. Provide general patient care by preparing patients for examinations, assisting providers during treatments, and administering medications and immunizations as directed. Collect specimens, perform laboratory tests, and troubleshoot instrument problems while ensuring CLIA/COLA compliance. Screen patient phone calls, respond to emergencies, and provide telephone health advice under provider direction. Coordinate referrals and ensure families have necessary documentation and contact information. Maintain current CPR certifications, keep rooms stocked with supplies, and report medication errors immediately to supervisors.
