Job Summary
Medical Assistant for ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) in Tarrytown. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, preparing exam rooms, verifying/recording medical history, assisting providers during examinations and procedures, preparing laboratory specimens and basic in-office lab testing, maintaining sterile instruments and proper disposal of contaminated supplies, educating patients on medications, accurately documenting examinations and treatments, maintaining inventory and equipment, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment and either independently or as part of a team; Epic EMR experience preferred; CMA/RMA certifications or MA program completion, with Bachelor's in Biology or EMT certification considered. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA
